Great service, homemade food, excellent beer ....

Finally managed again since July 2020. Good food and nice hosts. Beef roulades were to die for. Looking forward to next time.

Very friendly sausage salad was good but on the whole there was no food for me there was no schnitzel and no red pity

Great hosts and focus on the essentials! Few dishes but these are excellent, fresh and homemade. A pearl, so to speak. Thank you for the wonderful time!

Selection is very lean for my taste ... Example, there is not even schnitzel here. Maultasche was really delicious! Service has not yet warmed up completely. I would have gone again because the situation is galactic, but I don't eat here anymore. At most again for a refreshment. Roulades was awesome, according to my wife. So quality is definitely right here, I'll give the service another chance. Otherwise three stars.

Location for hikers top. Nice and well-kept beer garden. Playground for children and ample parking is available. The staff is friendly but has missed the bills several times. It was also no drinks menu or menu passed. Only a laminated paper. The food was forgotten by one of our visitors and was later handed in on demand. Prices are ok

Snow-white breaded schnitzel with gooey fries or ice-cold spaetzle. The salad was nothing. Sorry but that was underground. On appeal, an espresso was given for 3 half-baked food.

Sorry but that does not work. Dry and hard fries, the two pounded skinny Maultaschen swims in the fat and the salad ... well. A pity, since the beer garden is beautiful.

Appetizer Waldpilzrahmsuppe was just great, creamy Schnitzel also great and Panna Cotta with raspberry sauce for dessert was also awesome. Friendly and attentive service. Will come more often.

I was very pleased. Service was nice and the beer tasted delicious (Hochdorfer). I had a knuckle to eat. The crust and meat were perfect. As tasty as in Bavaria :) I'll be back.

Idyllic, inexpensive, easy to reach, long opening times. Perfect as a stopover on the Wacholderheide hiking trail.

The view from the restaurant at the lowest point of the Schönhaldenfelsen is breathtaking. The quality of the dishes cannot be faulted and I describe it as unique and simply brilliant.

Nice rustic forest restaurant, good kitchen to go with it, and extremely nice, friendly young host couple! I always like to go there!

One of the drinks ordered was brought wrong, the "big" salad would have barely passed as a side salad in other restaurants, one meal was forgotten - not a word of apology. When asked, there was a schnapps as an excuse. The other foods were ok, but both the service and the food have to be improved.

Sorry, but that was nothing! 1h waiting for food happens, I don't say anything. But the quality was underground! The pan doner: oily and dry, the fries: stale and dripping with fat, the price for it was rather high. For us the first time to leave 2/3 of the food in spite of hunger.

Yesterday the hell was going on, only stressed guests. The landlords were sorry we will come back when it is quieter.
